Parents visit the capitol to ask for more school options in Missouri

CEAM parents were in the state capitol this week to advocate for more school choice options in Missouri.

Eleven parent advocates from across the state spent Wednesday walking the halls of the state capitol building sharing their personal stories and asking legislators to consider a wide range of school choice policies.

The group met with nine legislators (or their chiefs of staff), advocating for open enrollment, expanding the MO Scholars program, and asking for better accountability measures for Missouri schools.

If you, or someone you know, would like to advocate for school choice at the capitol please let us know by emailing Cici Tompkins at cici@ceamteam.org.
