Support the #CEAMCares Covid-19 Family Emergency Relief Fund
The CEAM Team is working in real-time with hundreds of highly vulnerable Missouri families whose lives are being drastically affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In all corners of the state, our families’ needs are already at the critical phase. We urge you to consider supporting CEAM’s most vulnerable families and please keep in mind… no contribution is too large.
CEAM is pleased to welcome Lennox Mark and Malissa McLaurin to the team this winter. Lennox will be working as a development intern, and Malissa will be working on both the program and outreach teams as she completes her practicum for her Master of Social Work graduate degree.
Lennox Mark is currently the development intern at the Children’s Education Alliance of Missouri. Formerly, he has interned at the Bipartisan Policy Center, the Show-Me Institute, and the American Enterprise Institute in the areas of development and publication copyediting. This May, Lennox looks forward to completing his senior year at Washington University in St. Louis where he majors in political science. While at school, he serves as a co-chair of the Senior Gift Campaign and volunteers at Flynn Park Elementary School. After graduating, Lennox plans to pursue a career in non-profit management and hopes to soon obtain a Master’s of Public Administration. He is proud to play a small part in the movement towards equal educational opportunity for all.
Malissa McLaurin is currently a graduate student at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She is completing her concentration practicum in Social Work at the Children’s Education Alliance of Missouri (CEAM). In addition to obtaining her Masters of Social Work she is also working towards a certificate in Non-Profit Leadership and Management. Malissa has five years of experience working with children diagnosed with developmental disabilities, and she has a strong passion for the equal education movement. She is looking forward to learning more about educational policy and legislation while completing her internship at CEAM.
