CEAM Team goes Live: Series of Facebook Live events planned to focus on education in Missouri

Join us as we take to the virtual stage once again, soaring through the “airways” to illuminate Missouri’s remarkable school choice programs and the evolving educational landscape in the state.

This fall, the CEAM Team is thrilled to resurrect our Facebook Live program, where we will dive into the heart of Missouri’s most pressing educational matters while showcasing the impactful work our team is championing across the state.

Mark your calendars for the kickoff on Tuesday, September 12, at 7 p.m. as we delve into the MOScholars scholarship program. Hosted by the charismatic Peter Franzen, this engaging discussion will explore how the program has already empowered students and schools in its inaugural year, and how we’re gearing up to elevate it even further in the years to come.

Hold on tight, because October is set to sizzle with three consecutive weeks of dynamic Facebook Live events brought to you by the CEAM Team.

On Tuesday, October 10, we’re not just reminiscing about our annual IDEA Gala; we’re propelling forward, dissecting a decade of innovation and advocacy that has catalyzed a remarkable transformation in Missouri’s education landscape. Let’s celebrate the profound impact achieved through CEAM and our steadfast parent advocates, who have paved the way for expanding charter schools, pioneering a state-wide virtual education program, and pioneering Missouri’s inaugural private school choice initiative.

Join us on Tuesday, October 17, when we’re joined by our esteemed friend Julius Anthony, President of St. Louis Black Authors of Children’s Literature. Together, we’ll explore the art of teaching children to read and kindling the spark of knowledge.

Then, on Tuesday, October 24, our conversation shifts to the Quality Schools Coalition. Together, we’ll unpack the intricacies of accountability in Missouri’s public schools, and brainstorm ways to enhance the system and empower parents to make informed decisions about their children’s education journey.

The CEAM Team returns to Facebook Live on Tuesday, November 14, at 7 p.m. to examine how individuals and businesses can help provide K-12 scholarships without spending a dime through the MOScholars tax credit program. We will explain how you can take control of the state taxes you are already paying and redirect them to help provide scholarships in your community.

Lastly, don’t miss Tuesday, December 12, as the CEAM Team presents an exclusive preview of the 2024 legislative session. We will help you navigate the landscape of education-related bills and empower advocates to impact policies in Jefferson City.
