The Children’s Education Alliance of Missouri and our partner schools are once again gearing up for our annual celebration of school choice at the state capitol and want to invite you and your school to participate.
Every year (excluding some pandemic disruptions) supporters of school choice in Missouri gather in the state capitol rotunda during National School Choice Week to celebrate the diverse and inclusive educational opportunities that school choice provides students across the state and encourage our state lawmakers to expand those opportunities even further.
This year the annual Rally at the Capitol: Rejoice for School Choice will be held on January 25, 2023, with the program starting at around 11 a.m. Participating schools are asked to be at the capitol by 10 am to make sure they are in place for the program.
This year’s rally promises to be especially exciting as we welcome schools, educational assistance organizations, and especially students who are benefiting from Missouri’s new private school choice program MOScholars!
All school choice advocates are welcome to attend the rally including private school and homeschool students, educators, and families.
CEAM and NSCW can help schools cover the cost of buses to the capitol if schools pre-register at https://bit.ly/NSCW2023 .
You can also check out https://schoolchoiceweek.com/ to order free posters and scarves for students to wear.
