Reimagining Education

CEAM sets October advocacy trainings

The Children’s Education Alliance of Missouri has set four advocacy training sessions, Advocating for Education: Take your passion to the state capitol, spread throughout Missouri in October.

These sessions are designed to help parents, teachers and other education advocates learn more about the legislative process and how they can make sure their voice is heard in Jefferson City.

The training sessions will be a great opportunity for any parents frustrated by the limited nature of the state’s new ESA scholarship program, MOScholars, and any other parents focused on expanding educational choice in Missouri.

The training sessions will help parents learn how they can

  • Help a bill become a law
  • Testify in committee hearings
  • Plan advocacy meetings with legislators
  • Navigate the Capitol building
  • Advocate from home
