For far too long, Missouri has trapped students and their families in schools that do not meet their needs because of our one-size-fits-all approach to education. School choice will create a better educated, more highly skilled workforce that Missouri needs to compete in the global economy.

Education reform starts with funding students, not the same education bureaucracy that has failed to put the needs of our students first for far too long. Parents and students know best how their students learn.

All parents and families should have access to education options

COVID has highlighted the huge disparity between those that can afford to have education options and thousands of families feeling frustrated, angered and abandoned because their school systems are not making decisions based on what’s best for all students. Missouri’s current education policy enshrines and exacerbates the educational have and have-nots.

We must help our students get caught up

Our students are behind right now. To help students in every corner of this state catch up, we have to provide more high-quality educational options that put the needs of students first.
