EmpowerED Student Contest open to all Missouri students

CEAM’s annual student contest is currently accepting submissions from all K-12 students across the state.

The EmpowerED Student Contest, sponsored by CEAM and the MORE Network, is designed to give students of all age levels a chance to celebrate now their school is empowering their future success.

For K-5 students, we are offering an artwork contest where students create a 2-D piece of art using any medium or mixed media that expresses how they feel empowered by their school. The winning artwork will be given as awards to legislators at the Empowered Student Rally at the Capitol on Wednesday, January 29, 2020.

For middle school and high school students, we are holding a letter-writing contest where students, in 250 words or less, write a letter to their legislator explaining how their school has empowered them to be a change maker. Winning letters will be honored at the Empowered Student Rally at the Capitol Wednesday, January 29th, 2020.

Winners will receive cash prizes, $250 for first place, $100 for second place and $50 for third place.

Submit your entry here by Friday, January 3rd at midnight.
